The standard documents you need to prepare for your Canada tourist visa applications consist of documents supporting your identity information and purpose of travel. Before preparing your documents, do not forget to make sure that your documents are up-to-date and prepare your documents by considering their explanations. We wish you a good trip.

Students and housewives applying for a Canada tourist visa must also prepare and submit the financial documents of the persons or institutions that will cover their travel expenses to the consulate.

 All your documents for visa application must be up-to-date for the last months and reflect your current situation. Please note that applications made with incomplete, incorrect and outdated documents are not accepted.

Send your documents to our nearest office by cargo.

You can send documents showing your identity information and other personal documents, documents reflecting your professional (employee, retired, company owner) or social status (housewife, under 18 years old, student) to our nearest office by cargo or courier.

No matter where you reside in Turkey, you can complete your Canada visa application through our visa service. As of 31.07.2018, fingerprinting application has become valid for Canada visa applications. If you send your documents to our office by cargo/courier or in person, we start your transactions.

 

Documents Required for Canada Tourist Visa Procedures

1) Standard Documents

• Passport

Your passport must have been issued within the last ten years, have at least two blank pages, and be valid for at least 6 months after the visa you requested. Your passport should not be torn or deformed in a way that will impair its integrity. Your biometric photo in your passport must be up-to-date to allow your identity to be recognized.

If marriage or divorce has occurred later, the surname change must be reflected in the passport and updated. You can add old passports that have expired to the file during the visa application.

• Canada visa application form

The Canada visa application form is the most basic document of the visa application file. The consulate evaluates the identity information and purpose of travel of the person requesting a visa through this form, based on the declared information. Since the consulate has a very important effect on the visa decision-making process, the identity information of the visa applicant must be fully recorded in the application form in the light of up-to-date data.

• Biometric Photo

2 photographs with a clear facial expression, 35x45 mm in size, a white background, in accordance with biometric dimensions and reflecting your latest current state should be included in the visa application file.

• Bank Account Statement

Persons who will apply for a visa to the Canadian Consulate must have a bank account previously opened in their name. When applying for a visa, bank accounts with account balances of at least 50,000 TL must take their 3-month account statements retrospectively as official documents signed/stamped by the bank official and put them in the visa application file. ATM account receipts received from bank ATMs are not accepted as they are not officially binding. If the application is to be made as a family, the same amount of money must be in the account for each family member who makes the application.

• Transportation Reservations

You must add the pre-reservation documents regarding the means of transportation you will use during your travel, specifying the departure and return dates, in the visa application file.

• Accommodation Reservations

It is important for your application to be processed to have hotel/hotel pre-reservation documents issued in the name of the visa applicant and where they will stay during their trip. Consular visa officers are meticulous in this regard. For family applications, the names and surnames of all family members must be written and a separate hotel reservation must be made for each of them.

• Additional Documents Supporting Financial Adequacy

You must provide your real estate resources (Title Deed), vehicle license, rental income and additional account statements in the form of signed/stamped official documents.

2) Documents Varying According to Professional Status

- For Employees

• Bank Account Statement

The account movements of your bank account for the last 3 months and the bank passbook must be given as official documents signed/stamped by the bank official.

• Employer Letter in English

In the letter to be given by the company you work for, it should be stated that you are on leave during the travel dates with information about your employment and job position. If possible, the letter you will receive should be written on the paper with the company's logo and a wet signature/stamp should be made by the company official.

• SSI Barcode Service Statement

The insurance service statement, which you can get via e-government or SSI service units, should show your entire working life in detail. If the visa applicant is retired but still working elsewhere, he/she can put the SSI support premium documents in the file as supporting documents.

• SSI Employment Declaration

You must provide a photocopy of the employment declaration document given to the SSI directorate by the company you work for on the date you start working in the company.

• Payslips

Your payrolls for the last three months from the company you work for must be signed and stamped by the company official.

• Employment Contract

If you are not an employee with SSI, you must submit a notarized employment contract signed with the company you work for.

- For Employers;

• Bank Account Statement

The personal-company bank account book or statement of the company it owns for the last three months must be signed and stamped by the bank official with a wet signature.

• Activity Certificate / Copy of Chamber of Commerce Registry Record

The activity certificate that you can obtain from the Provincial Chamber of Commerce, which registers the work done by your company, must be up-to-date.

• Trade Registry Gazette

A copy of the trade registry gazette containing the company title and the information that the applicant is a founder or partner must be submitted.

• Current Tax Plate

A photocopy of your company's current tax plate for the last year must be submitted.

- For Students and Under 18

• Original and photocopy of the consent letter

Applicants under the age of 18 applying for a Canadian visa must obtain a notarized consent letter with the joint signature of the parents. Parents must also sign the Canada visa application form to be filled out for those under the age of 18. If the spouses are divorced, the existing custody decision should be added to the file.

• Original Population Registration Sample

Citizens of the Republic of Turkey who apply for a Canadian visa can apply to the Population Directorates with a petition and obtain the "Full Certificate of Population Registration Sample". Make sure that the document is signed by the authorized person of the institution with a wet signature and stamped and sealed.

• Student Certificate

The application must be made with the original signed and sealed student certificate issued by the institution where the visa applicant is studying.

• Petition

A legible petition with a wet signature, including departure-return dates and the phrase guarantee, written by a 1st degree relative of the visa applicant, stating that the travel expenses of the visa applicant will be covered, must be prepared.

Warning (!) The person who will finance the student's travel expenses must prepare and submit the documents of all his/her income sources with an official signature.

-For Retirees;

• Bank Statement

The visa applicant must attach the bank account movements for the last three months from the bank where the pension is deposited and the signed documents of the bank passbook to the application file. There must be a balance of at least 35,000 TL in the pension account.

• Retirement Certificate

The document showing your retirement status, which you can obtain on e-government or from SSI service units, must be a signed official document

For Self-Employed;

• Bank Statement

The bank account opened in the name of the visa applicant, the account transactions for the last 3 months and the bank account book must be obtained and added to the file, signed with a wet signature by the bank official whose name is in the bank signature circular.

• Chamber Registration Certificate

The chamber registration certificate obtained by the applicant from the professional chamber of which he is a member must include information for the last 6 months. If self-employed people have professional identity cards, they can attach their photocopies to the file as supporting documents.

• Current Tax Plate

The applicant who is engaged in self-employment can submit a photocopy of the current tax plate for the last year as an attachment.
